Somehow we allowed ourselves to be talked into going with the away team's preferred rules (two overs per bowler), which eventually cost us. Paul Grugeon carried his bat again, for 26, showing good concentration but possibly should be developing a few more run scoring hits. Christy O'Connor scored a good 24 not out and Callum hit a quick 39. Top scorer on 48 was extras.

Our total of 150 might have been defensible if we were allowed to bowl to our strengths, but we weren't, and with two of their main batsmen able to go on to 50 before retiring, the contest was uneven and we were well beaten.
